Gentle, rhythmic massage techniques are used to activate the lymph nodes and encourage lymphatic drainage. Detox and remove waste from the body, promoting immune support and your body's natural functions. This treatment is suitable for those with medical conditions where touch and lymphatic drainage will be helpful, but vigorous massage would be unsafe or painful. For example, lipedema, lymphedema, athletic injuries, and more. Manual lymphatic drainage also has proven benefits for inflammation, anxiety, chronic congestion, constipation, and more. I highly recommend it for general wellness, especially in combination or alternating with other massage modalities.

I am a CMLDT, certified by Klose. I am happy to treat stage 0 and stage 1 lymphedema, but require signed directions from your MD or CLT for stages 2 and 3.

I recommend avoiding alcohol for 24 hours before and 24 hours after this service.  

This treatment is extremely gentle and does not use lotion or oil. We will chat before your appointment to design your session, which may incorporate other modalities as well.

NEW cancellation policy: For cancellations and reschedules within 48 hours, your card on file will be charged a $25 fee.  This can be put towards a future service in the event of illness or emergencies.  For same day cancellations and no-shows, your card on file will be charged the full service price.
